I’ve fallen so hard for Tatsuro Kiuchi’s illustration work that it was so hard to pick just a few pieces to share with you! You simply must visit his portfolio website right now and take a gander at the rest of his work. His use of texture and negative space just fills his works with depth and light.
Tatsuro Kiuchi was born in Tokyo, Japan. After studying biology at the International Christian University in Tokyo, he made the switch to an art career after graduating with distinction from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Tatsuro began illustrating children’s books with several publishers in the US and Japan, eventually branching out into editorial work for magazines, book jacket illustrations and advertising commissions.
More art inspiration!
