TO: Emerging Artists FROM: David Byrne
Artist and musician, David Byrne (whose portrait I got to draw above for The After-School Corporation), contributed a great article to Wired regarding the future of the music industry. It doesn’t apply directly to illustration but I am increasingly fascinated by people like this who see all the changes that are happening in their industries and in the world and, rather than clinging to old ways with a death grip, accept the transformation and try to see how the world might even be a better place because of them.
