Marvel Comics is celebrating April as Wolverine Appreciation Month in honor of Wolverine’s 25th anniversary this year and the next month’s premiere of the movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. They’re celebrating with these wonderful Wolverine inspired adaptations of famous works of art. This Dali-style painting by Paolo Rivera can be found on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man. The Edward Gorey by Skottie Young and the N.C. Wyeth also by Rivera are my other favorites.
