Comic-Clone Reading List, Part IIII
Neither Comic-Con nor this Comic-Clone reading list are all about superheros or high seas shenanigans. Some of the very best comics describe the quiet moments and deep feelings shared between two people. This may be the best of those.
Blankets, written and drawn by Craig Thompson, is the memoir of a sensitive young artist struggling to find his place in an rigorously religious community. Regardless of your upbringing, you will almost certainly see something of yourself in this book. Thompson’s artwork manages to tell the story and communicate the longing, beauty, pain, and power of young love. Blankets is between editions right now, but it is such a masterpiece of comic book storytelling that it is still very easy to find online, in stores, and even at your local library.

I love Blankets. It described perfectly how wonderful and painfully heart-wrenching first love can be.

I read a lot already Blankets’ time (to find it was hard) I loved it right away .. the story, drawings tables style .. Craig is in fact a true “genius” if you can define it .. has managed in just over 600 pages to summarize color perfumes feelings only through the comic. In short, I recommend it to all of you, because it is also good for inspiration!
ps: ps. I’m Italian sorry for my bad English :)

Yes I like such pictures. Especially in comic style. You could also hang the posters on the wall.
