Neologisms

When work slows down a bit (as it does and will), I encourage those who call and moan to keep drawing no matter what. I had a bit of economic slowness last year, so I thought it would be fun to invite people to my website for a bit of wordplay.

A neologism [nee-ol-uh-jiz-uhm] is a new or made-up word or phrase, and seeing as how I believe that the entire English language could use an overhaul, I'm always ready to rock the phonetic boat. I came up with different scenarios or objects that I felt could benefit from a little naming, illustrated the concept, then asked readers to contribute. I received some hilarious replies, and best of all, it kept me working.
